Diabolical is the word. These leaders of the west are behaving as though being controlled by by an invisible hand contrary to logic, self-preservation, even compassion. An orchestrated suicide of the west. How the mighty have fallen.
]]>They have already lost it – the same line of “culture” that brought us these things carried within it it’s own demise. This “sickness unto death” goes by various names (“nihilism” and the like) but it was always there. If Islam did not exist it would simply be some other “civilization” that would be filling the vacuum. The problem of “cultures of death” is that they lead to…their own death.
]]>But, when all is said and done, I’m confident that Germany, as well as the E.U. will shine forth to the rest of us as the model of inclusion and the celebration of the joy of diversity…. those few bad apples who will likely resort to using hurtful language when dialoguing with their new neighbors but that’s what sensitivity classes are for….
That (the whole post) really brought a belly laugh in me. Do you have any more? You seem good at this… 😉
]]>Outside of war, a lot of its economics, Africa and Eastern Europe mainly come because they make more money. We need to developed the economies of the third world to stopped them coming as much. Recently, the pew Hispanic published a slowing down of Mexico some because they are homesick.
]]>True. Many of them were in Turkey and broke out. As my mother stated the UN should do tent cities for them and assist them in Turkey. Many folks that have civil wars end up living in tent cities. Why not the Syrians.
]]>Thomas writes:”The major news outlets … don’t dare to display the twisted jubilation, the shouting and laughing and honking observed in Muslim communities immediately after the 11/13 massacre.”
Are you referring to Muslims in Paris? There was a video on the net that purportedly showed French Muslims celebrating the attack. Apparently, it’s a fake.
While I think Europe needs to start heavily restricting immigration, it doesn’t help to make the case by using false stories and propaganda.
]]>The first impression one gets from watching the (almost embarrassing) welcome offered to the “refugees” by the Germans and Scandinavians is that the hosts are incredibly warm and kind. Thousands of the common people, not just politicians, were holding welcome banners high. In light of what’s actually happening this seems insane, just totally bonkers. But this has happened before in Germany – mass delusion – about 75 years ago. It ended badly for millions.
]]>There is a certain insanity to the whole phenomenon, a whole civilization knowingly self-destructing this way. I guess the history books will chalk it up as a testament to the sheer ideological and economic power of Western Enlightenment Liberalism.
One thing that it reminds me of that is actually a chilling thought: In the summer of 1917, a Provisional Gov’t (a more or less liberal democratic government) ruled Russia. The tsar had abdicated and the Bolshevik Revolution had yet to take place. The PG was so afraid of a royalist resurgence that it actually armed the Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks, of course, never returned the arms when the crisis had passed . . .
Being so terrified of some right wing insurgency that you “sacrifice sovereignty” . . . there is something diabolical about all of this.
]]>The problem is that many of these folks are being shuttled off to small towns that can’t handle an influx of unassimilated migrants. The other is that along with those seeking asylum are men raised in the violent culture of radical Islam who will eventually adopt its extreme methodologies. All of them? No, of course not, but too, too many.
Europe has to shut its doors now or face more of what happened in Paris this week. They’ve already seen violence and civil unrest in pockets near Paris in heavily Muslim areas.
