I believe that an Internet blog should avoid comments relating to an individual’s negative traits, especially when these comments — and even the article itself — cannot be confirmed as being true. To have this type of article or comment pervading a blog defeats the purpose of a sincere open forum, in that the blog then becomes a “scandal sheet” similar to the Inquirer newspaper.

I agree George 100%. I would also like to point out that the AOI blog is perhaps the most well run blog out there and we owe a debt of gratitude to Father for knowing when to blow the whistle and maintain a standard of excellence.
