Sadly, this decadent culture, rife with a seemingly unprecedented selfishness and narcissism, does not endorse but wages war on this essential institution, this cornerstone of civilization. And now with the added attack of the gay agenda, it seems as if raising an Orthodox Catholic family is a futile endeavor. I appreciate enormously the Orthodox Christian Faith as the unwavering bastion of truth, beauty, reverence, and timelessness in the midst of ever-changing satanic onslaughts disguised as tolerance, new doctrine and developments, and an individual egocentric penchant for relevance. As the Holy Scriptures is the unchanging “written” rule of life, so is the Orthodox Catholic Church the unchanging “living” rule of life.
