You are right Cynthia. My mother, who was in her early teens during WWII, lived in the same town as the Ten Booms. She didn’t know the family but everyone knew who the Ten Booms were. She said that the story, although remarkable, wasn’t unique. The Dutch resistance movement was highly organized and Nazi collaborators were few. There we others like the Ten Booms we never heard of she said.
