#1 and #4 on my list really bother me as possibilities as they are symptoms of a difficult problem that affects us all. #2 & #3 can be dealth with if #1 is not true.

1. They don’t care for a variety of reasons
2. They don’t know (too isolated)
3. They are afraid (centuries of dhimmi persecution)
4. Too busy at all the banquets they have to attend.
5. All of the above

We can’t simply chalk it up to fear or the natural kinship that Arab Orthodox feel for Arab Muslims, after all, this Lutheran bishop is an Arab.

If the Copts suffer, then other christian groups suffer.

(Words used to reject the Manhattan Declaration). I’m afraid there is a gnostic fatalism growing from the dhimmi tree.
