Dear Fr. John,

I do the same….I have a copy that i carry in my wallet at all times.

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:

Being in the turnaround business, this has always had particular poignance to me, because it happens so often.

I received this poem from my mom & my dad (they were newly divorced) when I graduated from high school, and I have treasured it ever since as a map to wisdom and manhood.

Do you know how old Kipling was when he wrote this?
