Probably not, although a few paragraphs on secular apocalypticism would be interesting. I think though that your initial observations on the culture, while tightly packed, are on target. An analysis on the shortcomings of the prevailing approach (the ideas I brought forward in the post above that I took from your introduction) could be very helpful, even as an essay.
