please forgive my impertince. I am still reeling from the granting of an honorary degree to the Archbishop of Canterbury. This really wounded those of us in the trenches. I’ve always had the greatest respect for SVS. Recent body-blow notwithstanding, I still do.

By the way, Bishop Suriel is a wonderful man, whom I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many times. And I think it is highly important that the Episcopal Church hear his voice on these issues. Their shock testifies to the ironic fact of their insularity.
