My personal favorite….Aleut – Christos Anagrecum!!

…which has always looked a lot to me like “Christ was not Greek” (ie. “ana” = “not”).

Does anyone know if St. Innocent (the translator) had a good a sense of humor?

Actually, in Portuguese: “Cristo ressuscitou! Verdadeiramente ressuscitou!”

Brazilian Pronunciation:
/KRIS-toh heh-soo-see-TOW! ver-dah-day-rah-MEN-teh heh-soo-see-TOW!”

(“r” in “rah” must sound like “t” in American pronunciation of “Peter”.)
