Yes, all presentations will be offered on Ancient Faith Radio (www.ancientfaith.com).
]]>I learned about your confeeence just yesterday and sadly am unable to attend this important event. I am beginning a masters thesis with the Antiochian House of Studies on the topic of Orthodox Anthropology, specifically True Feminism, (Orthodox Feminism) and how it manifests in today’s post-Christian culture of a morally and spiritually lost people.
Will there be transcripts or recordings of the presentations?
Just to clarify Sbdn. David, I am not hosting it although I am participating in it. Can’t take credit for work I have not done. 🙂
]]>I too have emailed the supplied address about reserving lodging at the monastery, but have not received a response. We are looking forward to attending the conference as this one of the great pressing issues facing the Church in the United States. Thank you for hosting it!
]]>Fr. Abraham,
Yes, I agree things should be a bit clearer. I contacted the Seminary and received this reply:
In response to the inquiry you received…there is no registration for the conference, it is open to all who wish to come.
For those attending but not on the program as speakers, we encourage (as mentioned on the seminary website) donations to the monastery and seminary in lieu of a registration fee.
For any further questions, and there is also a conference email address for inquiries listed on the Holy Trinity webpage for the conference.
Note that I included the email address above.
]]>Michael, I count 13 male presenters and 2 female not counting the Roundtable.
The focus on this conference will be what the moral tradition teaches on Orthodox anthropology. You won’t find the sloppy emotional reasoning you see at The Wheel and in some of the essays published on Public Orthodoxy for example. The Roundtable will be geared more toward the practical problems the cultural shift regarding anthropology has fostered.
