]]>It seems to me atheism will always be like a sparkler on a dark night, really much less than it might seem. But secularism is different because it permits belief, whether Christian, Buddhist, or neo pagan, while utterly sapping its vitality and moral power. In many ways, that is more subversive than oppressive persecution, which actually strengthens faith. How do you suggest secularism be addressed in a society that properly seeks to protect faith and government from each other, in the context of a culture that has made a sin out of moral judgment and critical thinking?
