George, I wonder if the Archons will go the Giannoulias route with the award this year. However, Giannoulias has crossed lines even Sarbanes wouldn’t. He is pro-abortion, pro gay marriage and pro ground zero mosque. I’m not sure even the wizards of smart will touch that trifecta. But you never know with the omogenia.

Chaput is just too real for 79th Street. So is the Roman Catholic Archbishop Archbishop of New York Timothy Dolan. Both bishops are great examples of leadership which is why we will not see them honored by 79th Street. Can’t have somebody challenging liberal assumptions.

However, maybe, just maybe 79th Steet will seek accolades from the leftists and do something crazy like give the award to the CEO of Coca Cola who has EP approval and has positioned himself as a perceived moderate amongst the Islamic Community. Never underestimate the power of political correctness among the GOA leadership.
