I of course take issue with the fact that a smaller magazine (say 7 bullets) would have resulted in fewer deaths. OK, 10 fewer? 5? 12? 1? It’s a hypothetical. Had Adam Lanza gone into Sandy Hook with only a six-shooter and shot six children to death, it would still be a tragedy of unmitigated proportions. And the gun-grabbers would still be arguing for tighter restrictions.

Pretty soon Dunn will suggest that St. Constantine and other Orthodox saints who fought in any battles should be posthumously excommunicated. Can’t have those warrior types as saints don’t you know! In the age of Oprah, Obama, and Dr. Phil, such brutes must be purged from the politically correct version of “religion” liberals and progressives concoct.

Most of these folks who promote a ban on “assault” weapons say it’s to save innocent children. If this is the case, then OK. Let’s put together some comprehensive legislation to save our innocent children – a wide spanning bill to ban assault weapons and banning abortion on all accounts expect when it is a treat to the mother’s life.

I could accept this.
