A 6-7 year old would tell you quickly what he is thankful for: “my family, my pet, my games, etc”. If you ask “to whom are you thankful for all these?” you’ll get a not so firm answer: “… to God …?” This is if the kid went to church. Otherwise it is completely unclear to whom to be thankful. May to the turkey that they keep coloring?
