Comments on: A Common Date for Pascha? https://www.aoiusa.org/a-common-date-for-pascha/ A Research and Educational Organization that engages the cultural issues of the day within the Orthodox Christian Tradition Thu, 28 May 2009 23:36:12 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=6.3.3 By: Fr. Adopting a common date for Pascha with the churches of the west without addressing the real issues that must be considered and reconciled in order to achieve true unity will do nothing more than provide a “feel good” moment for those who think such a step is in any way significant. Any sense of “unity” based on this — especially on this alone — would be the ecclesiological equivalent of a “Potemkin village”; looking oh, so nice on the surface, but totally without substance underneath.

Pass.
