Following Dostoevsky’s confession model I say:
It is not as a child that I believe and confess Jesus Christ. I confess Christ as a grown up who as a child was denied the right to know the TRUTH. When I thought that my life ended He patiently revealed Himself and showed me the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE.
