The Lord said, “He who has an ear let him hear”. (Rev. 3:22). It is our Chruistian duty to speak when necessary against evil and there is no time when it is unnecessary provided that we speak with the Church’s Truth. It is that which compelled the defenders of Orthodoxy to speak ot even in the face of impending martyrdom.
Posterity may know we have not loosely through silence permitted things to pass away as in a dream.
